How To Join/Requirements
As with many volunteer fire departments, we are always looking for new members to join and volunteer for their community!
There are different jobs for everyone such as;
In order to start the process, head down to our firehouse and pick up an application. Applications can be given out by asking any of the members that are there.
The best time to grab one is during our meeting and drill nights. The first Monday of every month is our Company Meeting, which starts at 1930 HRS (7:30 PM), and every Monday after that are drill nights, which start at 1900 HRS (7:00PM).
Once the application is filled out, you hand it back in to us and we begin the process, making you one step closer!
When you are a member, there are a set of minimum requirements that need to be satisfied in order to keep your active status within the Company. These requirements are as follows;
4 Company Meetings per year
8 Drills per year
Bloodborne Pathogens Class
Sexual Harassment Training
Respond to 10% of runs per year (We average 150 runs, so that would equal to 15 runs per year)
Complete a Physical at the facility we utilize
